About the Role:  

Marshal Nights Security Services is seeking a qualified Assessor to evaluate the competence of security personnel in line with the General Security Practice standard. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in security management and assessment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. As an Assessor, you will play a key role in ensuring that security staff meet the required standards, providing feedback, and guiding them towards continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess security personnel to evaluate their compliance with the General Security Practice standard

- Analyze evidence and make informed judgments on candidate competence

- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement

- Maintain thorough records of assessments, decisions, and feedback

- Collaborate with fellow assessors and industry stakeholders to ensure consistency and fairness in assessments

- Stay current with industry trends and updates to the General Security Practice standard

Requirements:

- Matric certificate

- National Certificate in General Security Practices (ID 58577)

- Proven experience in security management and assessment

- In-depth knowledge of the General Security Practice standard

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

- Capable of making objective, fair, and accurate assessment decisions

- Reliable, detail-oriented, and efficient
