We are seeking a skilled and experienced Driving Instructor/Trainer to join our team in Centurion, Pretoria. This role involves training and instructing aspiring Code 14 drivers, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
As a Code 14 Driving Instructor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our students receive comprehensive, practical training to pass their licensing exams and become proficient, responsible drivers on the road.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct theoretical and practical driving lessons for Code 14 drivers.
- Train students on road safety, vehicle control, traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques.
- Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their driving skills.
- Prepare students for the Code 14 driving test by ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Maintain records of student progress and performance.
- Ensure vehicles used for training are maintained in good condition.
Requirements:
- Valid Code 14 driving license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a driving instructor, specifically for Code 14 vehicles, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, professional, and able to motivate and guide students.
- Ability to work independently and manage training schedules.
- Reside in or near Centurion, Pretoria.
